Assistant Site Manager

Alcema are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join our multifaceted, growing team. This is a full-time role in West London.

Responsibilities:
- Be the ears and eyes onsite, maintaining the safe storage and management of materials, plant and tools.
- Manage building contracts on-site and report to the Senior Site Manager, Project Manager, Client, Sub-contractors, and other trades.
- Coordinate all aspects of the works, ensuring the building project is completed in line with the budget and on time.
- Provide commercial input by way of advice and suggestions on implementing cost savings at all times.
- Represent Alcema in a professional and proactive manner in all dealings with those associated with, and affected by, the building project.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Possession of a forklift ticket is desirable, as is banksman trained, pedestrian Crane trained, alongside the normal construction tickets.
- Can provide a comprehensive induction process for all operatives and visitors prior to the commencement of their works packages.
- Will ensure regular updates and reviews of the project specific induction process are undertaken, and is able to provide first aid and ensure there is a clear first aid area kept with appropriate stock.
- Has experience of liaising with public bodies, and is able to keep track of stock and deliveries.
- Will keep photographic survey records of all site operations and works and forward them to the office via the Compliance Manager.
- Will keep weekly site records alongside report and recording any non-compliances, misdemeanours or near misses to the site managers.

Salary is £35k-£40k.
