Jason is the company MD and has worked in the construction industry for 27 years, working at both regional and national main contractors. Through this experience Jason is now Managing Director of Alcema, specialising in heavy construction, fit-out and refurbishment.
Project and Technical Manager
An experienced Project and Technical Manager, Stephen has been in the industry since he was a child, learning and developing his skills while working for his family business. He is a Chemistry graduate with an attention to design detail that ensures that problems are picked up quickly and rectified before they have the chance to snowball. He has worked on projects valued in excess of £15 million and has been instrumental in all our project successes.
Regional Account Manager
Paul joined the company in April 2019 as our Regional Account Manager. Overseeing company expansion in the Midlands, he has over 25 years experience in the construction industry with a strong background in Quantity Surveying and Project Management he has led projects on both client and main contractor side ranging from small works schemes though to PFI schemes over £15 million. He has worked on many construction projects in all of the main sectors including, Health, Education, Ministry of Justice, Hospitality, Retail and Commercial and brings with him substantial experience and knowledge and a reputable supply chain that will benefit Alcema and its clients.
Tom is the company Account Exec and has over 25 years experience in the construction industry. He has delivered a number of commercial school projects (secondary schools, infant schools and nurseries; Training Academy projects and Higher Education establishments). Tom has extensive knowledge in delivering projects in Retail, Office and Museum sectors.
Tom has a “hands on” style and provides committed, strong management whilst developing excellent professional relationships. Tom has extensive experience of Health and Safety and the management and removal of asbestos.
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Duncan is our Senior QS and has worked with Jason for many years. Duncan supports Alcema with tendering and managing the costs on our projects. He has been a contractors’ QS for 35 years.
Adam has been a Contractors’ QS for over 15 years. He is a dynamic surveyor who always looks to work with project teams in a collaborative manner.
Health & Safety Consultant
Chas is an experienced and extensively qualified Construction Health & Safety practitioner. He has worked alongside the team for the past 4 years and has helped embed a positive health and safety culture within the company. As part of the Project Team, Chas will validate the Construction Phase Plan, undertake fortnightly audits and will monitor all works undertaken on site from a Health and Safety perspective.
James is a dynamic site manager who has worked his way up through the trades. He has over 8 years’ experience and has delivered all his projects to budget and on time. James has worked on a variety of projects, including retail projects for companies such as Tesco and Sainsburys and with major local authority projects such as Deptford Regeneration which involved dealing with varied stakeholders in a highly trafficked live environment.
Graham is a Senior Site Manager and has extensive management experience across construction, demolition, highways and fibre optics cable works.
Gordon has nearly 40 years experience within construction industry. He is an experienced Site Manager and has worked within all disciplines of construction; from retail to building industrial units and schools.
Val has been part of the Alcema team for over 3 years and works with a “can do” attitude. He leads by example and gets the best from his team and our subcontractors. Val has a shopfitting background and has lead fitting teams on a number of high level projects.
Assistant Site Manager
Cat has worked his way up through the Trades and has proved himself invaluable working with Alcema over the past 3 years.
Strategic Project Manager
Antoinette has been a member of the team since the company’s inception, coming from quality assurance background she has helped in the development of the company’s processes and procedures. Her role is now focused on business development and strategic alignment of services with that of our client base.
Martina has over 12 years of construction industry accountancy. She produces forecasts, year end accounts and VAT returns for the company. She maintains the accounts, payments and invoices. Martina is AAT qualified and has gained lots of experience through her career in accounts. She has brought order and consistency to the team and loves it when everything balances and matches!
Compliance and Admin Manager
Chyrryl joined the company as our Compliance Manager, overseeing all company processes and procedures in relation to Quality, Environment and H&S Management. Chyrryl’s background is project management (Prince2 Qualified) within construction. She is also IOSH Managing Safely qualified.
